Here’s a great video of 100 movie quotes that count themselves down. I love the selections.

I loved how it ended. “My thanks to everyone involved in making the movies. Especially the studios… please don’t sue me.”

How could someone compile something as incredible and amazing as this? Find/know the quotes? Get the clips? This reminds me that I’m just somebody who watches a lot of movies. The true movie geeks inhabit a whole different realm not to be reached from my couch. (And btw, that also goes for those who can produce a weekly informative and entertaining movie podcast.)

It’s pretty interesting. Some of those numbers, especially higher up, probably don’t pop up very much at all, while others have a wealth of quotes, especially on multiples of 5 and down in the single digits. And then you have stuff like 44, which ends up being a gimmie even though it’s mostly an unspectacular number.

Wonder if somebody out there is working on 101 and up…

Ric: Reading through that list makes me want to see The Taking of Pelham One Two Three again. And I’m not sure why.

Hey, that’s #5 on my train list in Episode 3. Somebody is bound to say “123″ in it somewhere. Only 99 more and we can make the sequel.

Does Cruella de Vil ever say how many dalmatians there are?

I was actually surprised at how many of those I recognized. I knew what 88 was going to be before I saw it, and the choice for number one made my day.
