Maybe the French have it figured out after all. In Episode 52’s Jacques Tati segment, my ever so logical tongue runs afoul of that thing called English.
This is the last of the bloopers. Should I be pleased or mortified that this blooper series has lasted even longer than the podcast itself?

By Episode 50, we had closed the show so many times, we could do it on autopilot. Thing is, autopilot doesn’t always get you where you’re supposed to go.

There is no inherent link between the Motiograph, a type of camera we’ll look at here, and seat covers for use in movie theaters, except that interesting articles about both appeared on the same page of The Film Daily Yearbook 1928. So we might as well cover them at the same time.

In the ongoing effort to try to minimize the number of segments we start with the word “Well” (and other useless words like “So” and “Anyway”), I came up with the wonderful alternative, “Uh.” This is a bit you didn’t hear in Episode 50’s Fact Or Fiction segment.
